FROM
THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK:
v Ways to Help Your Child Love the Mass: Sit in a place where you can each have an unobstructed view of the celebration of Mass. Watching the priest, the altar services, friends and neighbors on the Communion line makes children more aware of what’s going on during the Mass. As they get older, they understand that sitting up front makes them more accountable for their behavior.
v Week of March 17th: Power of Prayer- We should never underestimate the power of prayer. During Lent we will join together to pray the Rosary. Grades K-8 will meet in the new gym on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 3:15 p.m. We will recite one Decade of the Rosary.
v Tuesday at the PTC meeting, we voted on the new girls uniform. The one similar to the MH-MA uniforms (pattern name - LL plaid) was the winner! The plan from here. On Friday, May 2 the sales representative, Patty, from Dennis Uni-form will be here with samples from 8:00am-4:00pm. Please come and take advantage of this opportunity. Families will receive a 15% discount if you place your order on that day. (May 2) If you have any questions, please call me 367-3503.
v March 19th – 8th Grade Shadow Day at MH-MA. They will leave at 8:10a.m. and return at 3:15p.m.
v March Fundraiser: Cookie dough sales began on March 11 and will end on March 31. All proceeds goes towards our school technology. Cookies should be ready for pick up around April 14th.
v Reminder: Confirmation will be on Monday, April 7th at 7:00 p.m. at the Abbey. Confirmation practice will be at the Abbey on Saturday, April 5th at 7:30 p.m.
v Reminder: First Communion will be on Sunday, April 20th.
v Good luck to Maggie Fangman and Celia Kasper who will be participating in the Regional Spelling Bee Contest this weekend in Topeka!
v We will not have a newsletter next week. We will email any important information.
