 FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK:

v    The early bird registration fee of $140.00 ends on Thursday, May 1st.  Please return your child’s registration form and fee to the school office by Thursday, May 1st.  Otherwise, the fee will be $165.00 per student.  NO EXCEPTIONS!  Please make sure that you designate on the registration form which parish you are registered with.  Also, it is very important that the office has a copy of your child’s immunization records, birth certificate and baptismal certificate, if Catholic. 

v    Ways to Help Your Child Love the Mass: Go to the same Mass each week- They will look forward to seeing the same faces each week.  Try to pick a Mass time close to when everyone wakes up.  That way they will be fresh and rested.

v    Reminder:  School begins at 8:00am.  We are having a problem with parents getting students here on time.  Please plan your mornings accordingly.  It’s not that hard.

v      National Day of Prayer:  Grades 5-8 will be participating in the National Day of Prayer on May 1st at the Riverfront. 

v    On Friday, May 2nd the sales representative, Patty, from Dennis Uniform will be here with samples from 8:00am-4:00pm.  Please come and take advantage of this opportunity.  Families will receive a 15% discount if you place your order on that day. (May 2nd)   If you have any questions, please call me 367-3503.

v      Totus Tuus Returns:  We will be hosting Totus Tuus the week of July 28-August 1, grade K-7 and the week of July 27-31, grades 8-12.  Cost:  $10.00 per child or $25.00 per family.  Information will be sent home next Friday.

 GLOBAL LIVING ROSARY AT ROYALS STADUIM:

On Sunday Afteroon, Feast of Corpus Christi, May 25th, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. in the Kansas City Royals Stadium, the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph and the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas, will be conducting a Eucharistic Procession, Adoration and Global Living Rosary for the above intentions.  It will be an opportunity for thousands of people gathered together as one voice to publicly manifest our Catholic Faith.
